Do you enjoy working in human resources and supporting a busy team?  Are you a wiz with reporting and analytics?  Our client, a leading utility company, is seeking someone to join their team on a three month contract at their location west of Spruce Grove, Alberta.  The right person for this job will have a general understanding of HR concepts, be flexible, adaptable and willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for any HR related matters
  • Support HR managers and directors with administrative tasks
  • Export data from SAP and create reports in Excel
  • Assist with recruitment including booking interviews and creating interview guides
  • Create offer letters
  • Facilitate employee on-boarding
  • Ensure correct information in being entered into SAP and internal systems
  • Monitor and report on team KPIs
  • Assist with creating presentations and spreadsheets
  • Manage the personnel files

Candidate Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in a human resources department
  • Related post-secondary education would be preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Experience with labour relations would be an asset
  • Collaborative, flexible and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
