We are currently looking for a Certified Electronics Instrumental Control (EIC) Technician 2 for Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the EIC Technician 2 designs and builds electronic circuits, designs and implements solutions to issues and problems and performs fault analyses. The position also performs skilled work in the installation, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of electronic equipment and systems. The EIC Tech interprets sketches and prepares new sketches, diagrams, or schematic drawings; understands, operates and modifies computer software for electronic equipment/systems, and building automation systems (BAS). All work performed on electronic equipment and systems is done in accordance with, where applicable, bylaws, regulations, codes and standards.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm). This is a relief full time position, until the return of the incumbent (approximately October 2018).

  • Gr aduate of a recognized diploma program in Electronic Technology,
  • Five years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience,
  • Industry and vendor equipment certifications as required,
  • And Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
