Customer Service Specialist - Precious Metal Analyst

Calgary Gold, a division of Canada Gold, is currently looking to hire a full-time/part-time employee as a Precious Metals Analyst (Customer Service).

About Us:

Canada Gold is one of the countries largest Precious Metal dealers, with over 10 locations across the country. We are primarily a precious metals recycling company, however; we do business in other aspects such as (but not limited to) bullion sales in store and jewelry sales online.

Position Summary:

As a Precoius Metals Analyst you will be responsible for precious metal testing, purchasing, and sales in our store. You will be in a direct client-facing role within the store, so you will be expected to provide exemplary customer service to all of our clients while maximizing productivity and profitability of the company.

All training for the position will be done in store by the company, this means that no prior education is required for the position. All that we ask of our candidates is a positive attitude and a strong record of customer service.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Precious Metals Analyst are as follows:

-Greet clients and contribute to a safe, positive and friendly experience in person, on the phone or by email.

-Ensure the quality of customer service is consistent with Canada Gold's brand image, mission and vision.

-Stay up-to-date on the daily changes to precious-metals markets and the companies' pricing.

-Provide accurate and timely testing and quoting services to all clients.

-Offer clients market-based payouts in exchange for all precious-metals including gold and silver jewellery, coins, bullion, flatware, platinum and dental gold.

-Maintain the company's property, equipment and offices to a professional standard.

-Keep work space clean and ready at all times for customers.

-Keep the work tools clean and in their designated place for optimum use of resource.

-Resolve any customer issues in a professional manner and as quickly as possible.

-Adhere to all Canada Gold's policies and procedures.

-Undertaking other tasks as assigned.

Skill Requirement:

As mentioned before, all training is provided for you by the company, all that we require is top-notch customer service, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail.
